Assassin's Creed II one of the most my favorite games. Recently AC2 celebrated 15th anniversary and it coincides with mine replay this amazing game. Buildings was extracted from the game using unofficial modding tools and everything else was made by me.
I'm very love secret locations where required a combination of freerunning and puzzle solving to be navigated. So I decided to focus on one more secret location with glimpses of nostalgia. Then I picked a good spot on extracted Venecia map and started developing some kind of a start script. I created model of the skull (similar but a little different from original ones), build gates and rig for animation.
All made in Blender 4.3 and rendered in EEVEE.
It's really unbelievable how Blender amazing and feature rich is!
Big love to good old games ❤️
